XXVI es Journées Francophone de Virologie

XXVI es Journées Francophone de Virologie

10 April 2024

The Journées Francophones de Virologie, the annual meeting of the Société Française de Virologie (SFV), will move to Brussels in 2024. The themes covered offer a global vision of advances in the field of medical, veterinary and plant virology, whether at the molecular, cellular or whole-organism level.

Every year, the JFV brings together more than 500 researchers, engineers, technicians, students, pharmacists, veterinarians, doctors and university professors.
General plenary lectures are organized, as well as specialized parallel sessions dedicated to the presentation of original work submitted by participants. Thesis students, post-docs and young researchers in particular  have the opportunity to present their research work. Poster sessions are also organized, with the Renaud Mahieux Prize awarded for the best posters, and the Best Thesis 2023 awards presented in collaboration with ANRS MIE.
Oral presentations are mostly in French, with presentation materials (slides & posters) in English to reach a wider audience.
